While we slowly finalizing the development of XOOPS 2.5.12, Nicolas Andricq (aka ForMuss, or ForXoops on Github), the new XOOPS Core Team Leader, started to work on the next release of XOOPS: XOOPS 2.7.0

Nicolas Andricq (aka ForMuss), a member of the XOOPS Hall of Fame, has just finished a beta version of a new Admin theme for XOOPS, with Bootstrap 4.

Great news today - PHP 8.3 has been released! As you can see from the picture, the first test looks promising! 
It was tested with Smarty 4 Currently we're working on finalizing the upcoming XOOPS 2.5.11, that will include Smarty 3, and will be compatible with PHP 7.4 and partially with PHP 8.1...
