I feel lost in Wiki. What is difference between categories DevWiki and Development? And what for?
E.g. one time I opened
http://www.xoops.org/modules/mediawik ... .php/Dev:coding_standards
and next time
http://www.xoops.org/modules/mediawik ... /DevWiki_Coding_standards
And became confused... the same title but content different. I spend some time to realised that the category is different.

i just installed this module ( the link that Mambo left on the first page )
and i see this when i goto the page

A database error has occurred
Query: SELECT user_name,user_password,user_newpassword,user_email,user_email_authenticated,user_real_name,user_options,user_touched,user_token,user_registration FROM `xoops_mediawiki_user` WHERE user_id = '1' LIMIT 1
Function: User::loadFromDatabase
Error: 1146 Table 'antifm_socialxoop.xoops_mediawiki_user' doesn't exist (localhost)

i already set the permissions for only MY group to be allowed into it

This is when i click it in the main menu

The Wiki does indeed need some work and possibly some restructuring. However, exactly what it turns into has yet to be determined.

?
My thoughts are that without strict and untiring moderation and re-organizing they become just like my underwear draw. Full of useful stuff, but I'm buggered if I can find the other blue sock.
Wikipedia has a 'staff' of thousands all tweaking and reassigning stuff all the time. Of course, closed wikis might stand a chance of being more structured and navigable, but it kind of defeats the object to close them to user input.
In short, though the potential is there, the wiki on xoops.org is a confusing mess.
Just my 2Yen's worth, feel free to ignore me completely.

I can't spare the time to acquaint myself with the wiki on here..... A lot of work has gone into it but I just can't seem to get to grips with it. I think its a bit too complicated and rather more than we need.

A simpler wiki, like for example wiwimod, would be better for us. Easier to get to grips with so would be better used. I'd love someone to get a hold of this module and maintain it, updating it for XOOPS 2.3.0 in the process. Having said that, it works okay with XOOPS 2.3.0
