Barry asked if SmartMail will be compatible with XOOPS 2.2.4 as well as 2.0.X.

We've been testing in 2.0.X in the SandBox and things work fine.

We have not testing yet with 2.2.4 - but SmartFactory assures us that if it does not with 2.2.4, they will bang on it until it does

Thanks Andy,

I'll be working with it in 2.2.4 as soon as it's available.

Andyclef, I've got a list of 12.000 people I would like to mail. Do you have any idea when this module will be finished?

TIA!

I've been glued to those sites for months now...

So, what's cooking? When can we expect a public beta to test? It's not fun to keep an eye on this for a long time and read about people testing. Stop playing with my toys and gimme gimme gimme!

"Patiences is a virtue...but I haven't got the time!"

Let see if I can't shake a copy loose from the grasp of the SmartFactory. They are such perfectionists...

My feeling is that almost all current email clients are HTML capable, so we should not bother with offering a preference or text only options. Just send HTML messages. It will simplify things a bit.

That may be the case, but I as a subscriber to newsletters want the choice to have a text only version 'cus I don't like html cluttering up my inbox. Just a thought.

I agree with akitson. I choose plain text (if possible) for all the mailing lists/News letters I subscribe to.
Keep that option please!

Come on SmartFactory, give us a Beta! We can take it!
