In some browsers, some versions of IE esp, an RSS/XMl file will not display if you click on it directly.

If you right click and save as, or view it with a different browser, then you will be able to see it.

Sorry mate, I was out of line on this one. That will not work, it just makes the posts from "Annon"

Jerry,

We are acually looking at a way of standardising hooks over at Module Development, this would be extendable, so that not only the core would be able to use hooks (we are currently looking at search, rss, waiting contents for starters - newsletter would be easy enough to add) but you could write a module that has it's own hook, and all you would have to do is ensure that other modules supply their own hook plugin.

Hope that makes sense.

You need to have the Headlines module installed.

Edit:

Scratch that, I was talking rubbish. (Thought you were talking about the backend, not the headlines module).

But I should be able to implement it for Headlines, no problem, no effective immediatly though.

Yeah, heard of Ned Kelly. Not seen the recent film though.

Took me AAAGES to add the hair and beard to my real photo.

Context at the moment.

Edit:

Bit more info
DL linkhttp://fixedsys.com/context/ConTEXTsetup.exe

Features:

apart from the usual,
user definable execution keys, depending on file type
capturing console applications standard output
compiler output parser for positioning on error line
powerful command line handler

not sure how useful these are for PHP, but good for working with Borland C++ command line compiler and Latex though
