hi,
I would like to delete all postings of a specific user who is abusing my forum. I'm currently running XOOPS 2.0.5.
I hope it could be done by just running a smart SQL command like "delete ... from ... where user = ..." but I have no idea about the details. Is it enough to delete records from just one table or do I have to touch multiple tables ? Will the remaining thread structure "survive" such an operation ?
many thanks.

Does deleteing the user not work?

before I try: would this delete only this user's postings ? or would all subsequent replies be deleted, too ?

Sorry mate, I was out of line on this one. That will not work, it just makes the posts from "Annon"
