I need to be able to have users to be able to choose to have full text of forum posts. I see the option in the Global menu for the admins. But I would like to be able to do that per forum and or per topic so that those users that prefer to have messages emailed to them can choose that option.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Is it correct that the documentation uploading part does not work? When I fill everything in and upload I get a long line of words but it's not being uploaded. For the rest it seems like the module I need.

I think I saw a forum topic on this but I'm not sure.

Users are complaining on my site that if they are registering or entering data in any form on the site and they miss a required field they are asked to go back and re-enter everything all over again which is very discouraging to most.

Is there a way to keep the data from disappearing?

I am currently using x2.03

Re: Spanish Language for XOOPS

I am not certain, but, I think you can only officially use one language pack at a time.

There is a multilingual hack that let's you host more than one language at the same time... but, I don't think it has anything to do with the language pack. Instead, the multilingual hack (or multilanguage or multilingo, I forget) let's you create parallel versions of your documents... one in each language.

The advantage of that is you have control of the translation. The disadvantage is the maintaining content in more than one language is at least double the work.

The other approach is to use a translation block, which translates your pages using one of the free online translation tools. I think this might be the easier way to go, particularly since you are catering to one user.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade to XOOPS 2.0.5 from XOOPS 2.0.3, and when I try downloading the upgrade, it says it can't find the download. What's going wrong here?

Re: Several Hacks

At most sites I visit, the PDF file does open in the browser. However, not at the Nautis project.

I think Ackbarr has a solution in his post.

If one changes
content-dispositionattachment;

to
content-dispositioninline;

by editing the lines of code he points to, I suspect that would "fix" it. On the other hand, if you prefer that it is downloaded instead of viewed in the browser, then it isn't broken. Just depends what your preference is.

I love your site, by the way.
