Hello,

I'm running gallery 1.3.3 on XOOPS 2.0.5 for a while without any problem. But today suddenly gallery gives this error message when I try to view any photo with a URL like that

http://www.kasapoglu.org/modules/xoopsgallery/view_photo.php?xoops_imageid=126&set_albumName=album04&id=2001_06_3

ERROR: requested index [-1] out of bounds [117]

Any idea????

I would like to add my voice to those asking for a "true" multilanguage system. I am working on a site where:
1) There are up to 10 languages at the moment, and counting.
2) The people who update the site are distributed around the world. They can all use an English management interface, but the content must be in all these languages (including Cyrillic and double-byte languages)
3) The authors and editors have zero technical skills - I really don't want to have them put in HTML tags or square-bracket commands.
4) I want to separate the site areas by language, with a drop-down list to choose the language.

It seems to me that the only way to do this is to make it possible to have ALL content (including blocks etc) include a "language" parameter, so that the block is only displayed if the user has chosen the relevant language (should work also for anonymous users). As far as I can understand Xoops, it would also mean detaching blocks from modules: you should be able to include the same module multiple times, but with different titles (languages) etc. In other words, truly separate the different languages. Any thoughts, is this possible?

Cheers, Joel G

Re: Multiselect in preferences - how do I?

How nice. A built-in functionality, which is impossible to use. I know the documentation of XOOPS is being worked on... but geez, come on. Surely SOMEONE must have used this before. Someone has programmed it... But still, noone able to explain how to use it... That's just great. Really motivating.

I'm sorry, but I've had enough of trial-and-error programming until I accidently find the right method or syntax. I'm also tired of digging through classes, include files, extra functions etc. to find simple answers to simple problems.

So someone with knowledge, please? Is it too much to ask?

Thanks sunsnapper.

It's a thought, but doesn't really do the trick.

Ideally i want everyone to be able to search the site, but limit access so certain modules can't be searched by guests and regular users.

Íf anyone could write a hack for this it would be magic.

Best of all would be for greater permissions flexibility built into future XOOPS versions.

Easy for me to say, of course. But I hope this may be a little bit of useful feedback for the development team of this superb project on the sort of permission flexibility which at least some community-type sites would like.

It just stops people browsing your directory tree...

The JS is slightly more elegant, as it reirects you, instead of just presenting a blank page.

Someone should actually spend 5 minutes and cook up a sort of 404 like page that uses the site template, and gives people some links...

Here's a few pointers to forum images and icons...

For forum images try especially:

Or alternately for other images:
