We have developed a complete student web site to help students with their various needs. We have used wf-sections, reviews, shoutbox, smartfaq, news etc. You can check it out at http://studentzone.sourceforge.net . Have fun.
... for those, who had fun with the additional newsblocks ... here is an update, i added some blocks so now there are 6 blocks for different categories of news to display. It works fine with news version 1.1 but should work with 1.3 (but there we have some additional blocks though).

Niezależne Zrzeszenie Studentów (NZS) is a student organization active since 1980. We chose XOOPS to build the current version of our site and got everything working with little effort. The modules used include: wfsections, piCal, xoops-statistics and multiMenu.

Many business systems (and other non-business ones) are required to account for financial value in some manner. This module is aimed at providing double entry book-keeping facilities for Xoops business systems developers. Although it can be used by itself, that is not it's real aim.
The Alabama Freewill Baptist Children's Home has been using XOOPS for over a year now. Without any special programming ability, their staff regularly update the site with news, pictures, information about the ministry, and an event calender.
