I just downloaded and extracted XOOPS2_mod_news_1.44.zip from the Official XOOPS Module Repository!
https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=48&lid=1558In this New Install I uploaded the news directory to my modules directory of the site, went into the site as administrator, then ...
In the install new modules section below the Submit button of the Modules Administration,
I see the following Messages:
Module File for news Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!Module File for Not Found!
Then comes the "Module Version Action" colums with a broken image under the Module, Version 0,
and "Module File for Not Found!" between the icons of the install.gif & info.gif
Perhaps someone has seen this kind of behavior before, or can help me figure out where I'm missing the mark, etc.
- Thanks in Advance - 10/4 M.D.
