Just either write in the forum or add a bug please. The developers will answer questions in there, they don't always monitor the forum threads here on the main XOOPS site.

Not for sure if this is what you're looking for but here goes. What you need to do is
For XOOPS 2.2.x
1. Go to the Administration section.
2. Go to Preferences
3. Go to System
4. Click on Meta Tags and Footer
5. Then, you'll see a section in the page that opens called: Footer
6. Save changes when done.
For XOOPS 2.0.x
1. Go to the Administration section
2. Hover the System icon
3. Choose Preferences
4. On the page that comes up, you'll want to click Edit next to Meta Tags and Footer
5. Then, you'll see a section in the page that opens called: Footer
6. Save changes when done.

There is one requirement, you have to have the Extended Profiles module installed...don't ask me why....but after that - follow these directions.
1. From the main page, click on Administration Menu.
2. Hover the Modules menu to get the popup.
3. Hover the Extended Profiles link.
4. Click on Users.

What you need to do is go to
- Admin
- System
- Modules
Once in there, there is a textbox just under the module icon. You change that text. Hope that helps.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I have seen this project posted on the dev.xoops.org website. I believe it is still being developed, but it's something to look forward to.

There is an issue when you visit your site like this:

I believe that there's a problem with setting the cookie for the user when you don't have the www on your url.
