ok, XOOPS coreteam had done much work than we had learned about, but , why not put it to public, if code, why not update svn, if document why not post it here？

i cant image any reason for keeping their works so secret

to david12: it seems u learn a lot, can u give us more details about the status of XOOPS dev? 3x

if u visit the space of XOOPS on sf.net , u'll have an impression that the XOOPS project had been halted, only a few threads in the core forum, the last post is 3 weeks ago
the last update on the 2.3.x branches is 8 months ago, and it has been 2months since the realease of 2.2.5-rc2.

if XOOPS still move forward so slow, it will lost more and more

it's not difficult to modify some words in language files, but it'll give xoopser more "fresh air" and confidence

you should look into the xoopsversion.php within the module dir. remember the block's show_func and template

then , in your php file, add such code
$block = $show_func(param);
$xoopsTpl->assign("block", $block);


finally add the template's source into your theme.html as ur will

if the smarty variable "block" is confilcted with others, your can change them.

try http://yoursite.com/admin.php

and login using your admin name/pass, then set the theme to another
