"Sorry, your password must be at least 3 characters long"

Please help, Thanks,

Thats all the info there is. I tried to add a custom block and the screen goes blank and says at top:

Blocks Administration »» Add a new block with a hyperlink on the blocks administration going back to admin < below >

Somebody make a fool out of me and tell me there's a CMS framework, module, add-on or otherwise that includes or is coming close to including something like Quickbase functionality. (I'm talking about Intuit's Quickbase athttp://www.quickbase.com).

From the Open Source CMS world, I thought I saw smoke coming from places like PLONE and WEBGUI, but I just don't have the technical jewels to figure through the development speak.

Quickbase is such an easy and wonderful database tool, and it represents such a straightforward, flexible solution. I've been using it since it was free for little guys years ago when it started. If one you programming types just duplicate it, you would go to heaven for sure. And I mean duplicate it. The functionality is so generic and so pure it now borders a spreadsheet-like "killerclick" nature. And its SO simple!

So many XOOPS and other CMS module add-ons that represent so many tiny subsets of what an 19 year old intern admin can create with Quickbase, seem to be run through the human interface meat grinder. Survey modules, Project management modules, appointment modules, contact modules, etc. From the quickbase point of view they're just relational database structures that are relative simple challenges of inputing data and outputing data. That's it.

Make it so or make me an idiot, please just don't miss the question or try to entertain others answering half of it.

Thanks in advance,
David

I am completely locked out of my XOOPS installation. I believe all I did was (attempt) to add and change the them on my surveyx (phpsurvey) module. The following is the error message I get upon trying to log in.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/html/include/functions.php on line 145

Any ideas?

Thanks,
David

I just installed surveyx 0.5 which I guess is derivative of phpsurvey. The thing is pretty incredible. Now a problem: I downloaded some themes from the phpsurvey site, forgetting the apps weren't really married anymore. Anyway the files looked similar. Well after I tried to change the theme in surveyx, the whole app blew up, with the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/html/include/functions.php on line 145

Line 145 in functions.php is:
{
return $GLOBALS['xoopsSecurity']->checkReferer($docheck);
}

Any help? suggestions?

Also, I wonder how many times people have done what I just did and were rewarded with the same ensueing exedrine headache. I was all ready to post and didn't need a preview, gotta get going. Look up to the top of the form and see "Submit", next to DHTML, ok, DHTML's ok, I'll just get this thing moving. Click, bang, everythings gone.... wrong button.

Are you saying insert the line of code list below in a block? I hope you answer work because that doesn't do anything. I'm sorry I am such a novice.
