Wouldnt it be easier to simply make the PMs notify one email address.

Then just make each site notify the same email address.

This seems like it would be easier than making all the sites add a new PM module.

What do you think?

Yes. I was thinking on the same lines.

I think you just have to add the members to the group.

Go to groups admin and select the "veterans" group and scroll below to add/remove members.

I am using the module not as classifieds ads so I need to make some changes.

I also want to change these lines which appear on the ads submit page and form:

'Your ad in the category'

'Add an ad to this category'

'There is no ad in this category'

Thanks for pointing it out...it was useful.

But I am not sure how to get other format files to be allowed. I mean non-image file formats such as .doc .txt .pdf etc.

Hi,

I am trying out Classifieds Module [I think its named as SmallAds or CatAds]

This module allows a member to upload six image files while submitting a post.

I want to know if it can be hacked to allow upload files of any format as an attachment to the post.

Possibly allow two uploads for image files and the remaining four to allow upload of any other format files.

TIA

I got the colors ok. Something was wrong with IE and I had to clear the cache in safe mode to make it work.

I am using the XOOPS default theme with some minor changes. There is no problem with the other blocks in the center. The space occurs only for the multimenu. Its not bad as it is ....anyways thanks for the help

Hi,

1.

I installed MultiMenu and choose Horizontal drop down css menu

I wanted to change the colors of the menu but I could only do it for the main color in the css files in \multiMenu\script\08

I tried to change the color for the mouseover background and dropdown background but it freezes the menu and it refuses to work.

What should I do to change the colors ?

2. Secondly the multiMenu [horizontal dd css] creates too much empty space on top and bottom in center-center block. Which file has to be edited to change it ?

See it here in the image:http://wayband.com/image.png

TIA

I am having the same problem but on my local server.

If I install XOOPS on IBserver pack its ok but today I tried to install XOOPS on InstantRails pack [RubyonRails... yet to figure out what it is for ].

I got a similar message stating cant write to mainfile.php

...................................
Directory uploads/ is writable.
Directory cache/ is writable.
Directory templates_c/ is writable.
File mainfile.php is writable.
No errors detected.

Could not write into mainfile.php. Please check the file permission and try again.

Nice suggestions ... but why not set the login block only visible for admin group?

... for an Admins only party :)
