did you look if theres any minimum post count in order to upload custom avatar? check it in your settings

well try to download the smartpartner module for easy manupulation of your partner links. or if you want manual then add blocks with html code of your image and link

if your using cpanel your path should be /home/yourcpanelusername/public_html/yourxoopsdir

or try this create path.php in your home directory then put this content and open it to view your path

<?php
print ($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']);
?>

make sure that the module your using can be access by guest not only the block section..

ok lets say you have an sql account.. first you should create your sql database.. then create a user and password for that database in order to have access in tables etc.. the user and pass should be the one will be put in your XOOPS installation

meaning the XOOPS cant connect to your sql make sure the user and pass for sql is correct

i try to ban IP add to my site but i think its not working..

can anyone give me sample or format to do that?

i try 172.16.1.1 | 172.16.1.2 is this correct?

try to install the news module.. the post some articles in news..

the login as admin go to system admin>>preferences>>general settings

then set you Module for your start page = News
