Hi All,

I'm looking for a way to have small banners, 120 x60 in a block on the right side of my site. I see how XOOPS has a banner manager but is there a way to have banners listed similar to how the 'Powered by' section is listed on the XOOPS site? Basically this would be for sponsors or free banner exchange.

Thanks

I recently did the same thing for my website, I created a custom block and used HTML code to insert my links and small banners and then saved the block as HTML.

I'm finally back to working on this site. I installed the smartpartner module but it appears to be broken. The add new partner link goes to a blank page and the blocks and groups link has a fatal error.

Any ideas?

smartpartner doesn't work with XOOPS 2.2, you'll have to wait for an update.

The "powered by" block is just a custom block, as suggested above.

On the topic of banners lol I seem to be having some problems getting .swf files to show in a custom block. I am using the latest version of XOOPS and think its great.

Heres what I did---
I made a flash banner the size i wanted--
made the whole deal in dreamweaver the way I wanted it including the link then copy and pasted code into customs block visible by all. Shows the block and heading but not the banner.

Is there a tutorial somewhere I may read up on or is there a banner rotation systems thats not super complex. This is for a kids racing site located here. Flashchat intregrated also
