I too would be interested in gaming themes.
EX: BF2, CS, WOW, Far-Cry - a mixed theme that fits all online games would be awesome!

I too would not mind paying for a one-of-a-kind custom theme for my site!

Thanks!

Here is a good search engine for you to find a best PHP/mySQL hosting program for your website:

I get nothing from that webpage except an empty blue page

These idiots (g00ns) just hacked an XOOPS site today. Here's a quote from their website:

As many of you already know, the CWar site was defaced yesterday by someone claiming they were from the goons.net group of idiot hackers who don't like online gamers. They have a beef with the RA group, and are taking it out on the member clans.

Cwar apologizes for any trouble the site defacing or the rude emails have caused our community. We are exploring other software possiblities, as open source packages will always have easy exploits. Thanks for your understanding.

davidtillyer,

Have you thought about making subdomains from your main domain like: (note: non-working examples for davidtillyer)

http://jimsgroup.theeclub.com/

http://marysgroup.theeclub.com/

Just a thought

I found users cannot register with IE but can with Firefox, so i instructed them to lower privacy settings to low and then they could register fine, not sure if this is the problem that you guys are having but might be worth a try

I am using Mozilla 1.7.12 and Zone Alarm.

When I first tried to register at your site it didn't work, so I followed your Zone Alarm instruction forhttp://triviaarena.com/

The second time I tried to register it didn't word, so I double checked my Zone Alarm settings forhttp://triviaarena.com/ and they were set according to your instructions.

Then I found triviaarena.no-ip.com was in my Zone Alarm history. I set that to your Zone Alarm setting and the registration worked.

Hope that helps.

You have probably already been here, but the guy who has done the most work with conversions like this is:

http://www.bbpixel.com/

I have no idea if he has the conversion you are talking about, but he may.

You have no backup?

Most webhost normally have a backup. Have you contacted your webhost?

Don't forget backups! Just incase they do hack your site. Also I seem to remember someone mentioning that that something should be removed or changed within the mainfile but don't remember what that was.

I would also check your host and perhap mention to them that you might be targeted and have them advise you.

don (el paso)

Yup, main domain and mySQL is backed up daily. Our host is aware of the threat, and are taking it quite seriously becuase they host a lot of gaming groups which is what the g00ns are targeting.

I installed the protector module, that had me change things in the mainfile, plus I have very little open to unregistered users.

I think I am about as secure as I can be.
