arbaronx,

those are not errors. Turn off debug under admin/prefs. What modules are you looking at loading on your site?

biography for an author would be a nice addition to any of our article/news modules.

How will templates be handled in XOOPS 2.3+? Are they going to stay?

hi guys,

david,
I was thinking for the modules. It would just be nice to have a template pack for modules. Isn't module templates supposed to be a strong point for Xoops? We could almost treat this idea like an icon package for your site.

Matter of fact having module devs share icon sets for their modules would be a nice idea too!

Next idea.

*edited to clarify*
What about using two modules inside one template? Content could be messaged to produce a nice layout inside one block. Not sure how to pull this off, but I can't see why it couldn't be done. This could yeild some extraordinary results?

It would also stop XOOPS sites looking so samey

BN,
I think that would help a lot.

*****Hypnotic suggestion!****

Wouldn't it be a nice to have a module template section in addition to the themes area. Some modules have great features, but are just organized just a bit wrong. I think this idea could freashen up some old modules a bit. If this is a good idea are any designers willing to try their hands at templates? Could be worth lots of browny points!

I know... here goes don suggesting ideas again

Nice! I'll dig into it later even though I'm not an end time christian.... I'm one of those here and now types!

I was going to build such a site myself. I hope you don't mind if I draw some inspiration from your work.

thanks G. Nice work.

I would remove the advertising for now and consentrate on content. After the site has enough traffic then you can place small adds throughout the site. Look at other sites doing what you want to do and copy their success. Right now energise your site with articles and news until traffic picks up. I'd minimize the forums until you have enough traffic to drive them.

just my 2cents.
