Brashquido & myself felt the same way so we hired someone to overhaul the articles (news) module. We are in the final testing stages now however there is some debate on if we will be releasing this to the community as it cost both of us a lot of money to get the articles system in the shape we wanted/needed it.
IE is the WORST browser on the market as far as Standards go -- most times when a site looks fine in IE & not another browser is that the code used to generate the site is using propietary code only available for IE.
If you want a browser that conforms to standards, you need Mozilla or Firefox.
We have had several posts on our site about problems with IIS & the latest version of ZoneAlarm. I have been in contact with Zonelabs & they are aware that there is a problem but don't really seem to be all that interested in getting the problem resolved.
I would suggest that you take a look at Steve Gibson's Personal Firewall roundup as it is important to have some sort of firewall.
