Hi all,

in the module wfsection, when I add a comment to an article that is restricted to specific user groups, the 'recent comments' block of the XOOPS system also displays the comment for users that don't belong to one of the groups specified in the articles section.

If the user klicks the comment link, he get's an error message saying that he is not permitted to view the article.

How can you exlude those wfsection comments in the 'recent comments' block from being displayed to users, not belonging to one of the user groups specified in the corresponding section ??

Thanks in advance !

I see what you mean, I will sort this for the next version. I will post a fix for you here ASP

Re: World Travel Publishers.com - Amazon module working

I got my custom amazon module working now. To see what it is like you can have a look at World Travel Site - Amazon module.

In order to make it an official XOOPS module I will need some help from developers, so if you are interested, please let me know. An admin section would need to be created and I have some parameters hardcoded in the templates instead of a confirg file or database.

Regards,

Martijn

I saw there are a few auto login hacks available for Xoops.

Is there one in peticular, best and safe suitable for XOOPS 2.0.3 ? There's to much discussion surrounding the information for me to make a good choice.

It has to make use of cookies to store the password, not the database...

Thanks in advance!

Guys; any idea how I'll go upgrading my XOOPS 1.3.10 site to XOOPS 2.0.3 and retaining all my photos and descriptions if I load myalbum-p into the mix?

Hi Gronice,

With my previous post I was really just kicking *myself* for not realizing that betas are betas and should be approached with care (and a little bit of experience and knowledge). I did not mean to imply that you should slave for me personally.

I (and many others) appreciate the massive effort you have undertaken. I, for one, am inspired to create a new module! Perhaps it can complement the XOOPS paradigm. I should probably now learn to use CVS so I don't get behind the curve.

cheers, dooder
