How can I edit the other news part of the Spotlight module, so it will show a custom category image and the last three newsitems of that category (for all categories):

-------
|Spot | News blablablalalalalalalalalalalalalala
|Light| blalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalal
|Image| lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala
-------

Other news:

-------
| Cat | News Headline 1
|Image| News Headline 2
------- News Headline 3

-------
| Cat | News Headline 1
|Image| News Headline 2
------- News Headline 3

Thanks in advance, hopefully my drawing skills will help

The only problem I encountered were a few mirrors not working properly (yet)!

Then again I tried a few other mirrors and found one working, no registrations or whatsoever...

btw it was the Chapel Hill mirror (Reminds me of Sonic Youth )

Nice Pack! Thanks for collecting!

Xoops Gallery, blank random image

I'm using XOOPS Gallery and have a minor problem:

I've setup 1 main album with the purpose of category. In this album there are a few nested albums which are the actual albums with images.

When clicking on Gallery in the main menu it shows a picture out of the nested album for the main Album.

In the random images block it once and a while doesn't show a picture (.../modules/xoopsgallery/cache/albums//)

I guess this is caused by not having an image in the main album...

How can I solve this problem?

Aloha Shijk,

Please check this topic about streaming media.

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=5283&forum=10#forumpost49588

JackJ mentions the perfect way for creating the popup.php and the basic code for a custom block in this one.

Regards,

Kolibri

It seems like the custom block is not working properly for me. I tried several times to get the banner header into a custom block using <{$xoops_banner}> and setting it to php mode, but without any results...

Also had the problems with some other php scripts in the past, no problems with plain text in custom blocks...

Using XOOPS 2.0.3

TIA

Just searched the winamp forums and the only interesting thing I've found was this link:

http://www.freedomaudio.com/

I guess you have to get this into a block by yourself but I do not know how to get the links into a file as variables.

Hopefully it is of any use.

Hooyah,

I have it working right now, never thought it would be this easy.

I've changed the window size to 320x240 and changed the rate setting of 1 to 0, it was causing a weird frame inside the window...

JackJ, thanks for the inspiration and your help/suggestions!!

Anyone out there who knows how I can make this work for streaming videos?

Is this just as simple as redefining some of the player settings in the audio block and if so, which settings need to be changed?

Again thanks in advance for all XOOPS users in the XOOPS community reading this question and possibly answering this question!

JackJ, a big thank you for you!

This code meets the requirements for this moment. Right now I'm fitting it to my needs.

Couldn't mention it enough:

There are two brilliant streaming modules out there for PHPNuke »»» Internet Radio and Internet TV, as well as total admin control, popups, blocks and module...

They can be seen/found onhttp://www.just4me.nl/

So if anyone has some knowledge and time left to port it...
(Please check the module development team first, they might have accepted this port as a project!, otherwise it's a waste of your precious time!)
