Display a WF-Section document within a block

Hello all,

Firstly to understand what I am trying to achieve, you need to have a look at my websitehttp://www.albanycc.org.nz

As you can see the home page is not using any modules as the default startup. The reason is I want the URL to remain ashttp://www.albanycc.org.nz and not something long likehttp://www.albanycc.org.nz/modules/wf-section etc etc etc. (I know there is a short URL hack but I just couldn't get that to work!)

So for the Welcome message, I created a custom block (auto format), and typed in the content.

Unfortunately this meant I could not make it easy for my pastor to change the Welcome message himself. He has to email the details to me and I update the block.

Now, is there a way I could let him update a Welcome message say as an article in WF-Section and then by using a php-script block display that article on the home page?

Yep, that seems to have done the trick. Looks like it was a database tabling issue.

Hi,

If you still have this problem, then follow these instructions.

Download the copy of the win32 PHP (not the installer one) from php.net (whichever php version that you want running on your webserver). Then from dll folder, copy these two files: libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll to your Windows/System32 (whichever Windows you have).

And then from the extensions folder: get your php_curl.dll and place it under your PHP/extensions folder.

Change your php.ini where it specifies the extension folder for example:
extension_dir = "./extensions/"

And uncomment your extension to php_curl.dll for example:
extension=php_curl.dll

I thought that would be good idea if a media-player makes it possible to play songs. Was I wrong? If you just want audio files downloadable, then use a download modules, because they have far more features.

Perhaps I do not see your point, so help me out.

I am having the exact problem (see this threadhttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=23582&post_id=109686&order=0&viewmode=flat&pid=109529&forum=1#forumpost109686), but I cannot seem to resolve it because I cant seem to find instruction on all these 'how to flush MySQL tables'. People say 'I did this' and 'I did that' but don't tell anyone how they did it.

I cannot access phpMyAdmin so how can I do this using the MySQL command line?

Checked permissions (again). No joy.

I just noticed this thread too. How many people are that have this problem?

I posted herehttp://www.iis-resources.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?forum=20&post_id=10286&topic_id=2121 and they said that this is a known bug? Any fixes created yet?

I've also just found this thread

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=24864&forum=7 where its happended to others. They refer to clearing the sql database tables somehow but don't give instruction on how. I cannot get phpMyAdmin to function (I had the XOOPS module but cannot access that now) for some reason - it never worked for me even though the XOOPS module did. I just kept getting the 'No Input File Specified' error.

How can I do these MySQL flushes using command lines?

I?m asking this thinking on some situations that could not be interesting to show them.
