Have a look at THIS! But sorry, no playlists yet! This will follow in one of the next version(s).

I like this module - nice and clean, not too fiddly to set up...

However, I don't seem to be able to get a standard user to play the songs when they've clicked the play button on the playlist... the actual source of the pop-up comes up as....

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" />
<meta http-equiv="content-language" content="en" />
<title>name of mp3</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="http://www.sitename.com/xoops.css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="www.sitename/theme/styleNN.css" />
</head>
<body>
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="10">
<tr>
<td colspan="2"></td>
</tr>

<tr>
<td>
<a href="getfile.php?id=5">Download</a>
</td>
<td align="right"><!----></td>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>

It looks like the playcode hasnt been inserted?

Other than this however - This module is just one of the things I have been looking for.... download and playback of tunes :)

(All it needs is to be able to select if a user can download or not - and i'm fairly sure that wont be too tricky to add :))

Sorry for the misbehaviour of my module. Could it be that you have register_globals = off on your webserver? This could be the only explanation.

In Preferences you can select wether users are allowed to download a song or not, but this is not on a per-song-basis.

I will look into the code again.

Aaargh! Another idea! Maybe I forgot this to mention in the readme-file. If you click on the sublink "myDebaser" when you are in the debaser module, you can choose your favourite player. An answer from you will be appreciated!

register globals? No idea.

I guessed about the player selector - a good idea :)

You could try this module...Media Show

I have it playing video files on my front page. I never used the audio block, but you should be able to upload some type of music files to the Audio Directory and play them from this module. Make sure you enable the audio block and set your group permissions...

Hope that helps

Call me silly, stupid, whatever! Good hint! I must confess I always tested the module as admin. Shame on me. This will never happen again!!

You'll find the updated files HERE!

Version no. in xoops_version.php must read now 0.61. For those who already installed and cursed at me about this non-working-mod, please exchange xoops_version.php, player.php and templates/debaser_player.html (make a recompile of this template in templates manager), update the module and please try again! Sorry for the trouble!

It's no problem :)

I'll give it a quick test :)
