I have a site based on invision powerboard 1.1.1 here I would like to convert the site in the long term to XOOPS (which I have used successfully on other sites), is there anyway to make a conversion which would allow me to keep my members lists and the posts which make up a considerable knowledgebase.

Or all things being equal would it be easier to strip the datbases and do it manually.

xhelp mails to everyone

I have created a new XOOPS site specifically as a helpdesk, and installed the xhelp module, which is excellent.

I have set the notifications in users to send notifications by PM, however when I log a ticket or update one in xhelp it sends an email to all staff members/xoops users that are regsitered with xhelp...anyone know how I can turn this off, i only want to send to the person who logged a ticket and the tech who owns the job?

That wellwine link doesn't work, I have been using the weblog module on my site

for quite a while, but notice it lacks many features

what other weblog modules are there or will this wellwine module gett any development?

I had a similar problem and changed the flock setting, but now when I clcik on new album nothing happens, In that it just stays on the initial gallery page.

I am running latest gallery and XOOPS 2.06, I have safe mode set to off and it can find my imagemagick files.

help, as they say quite alot round here.

Can I move from sub directory to main directory?

I originally installed XOOPS in a subdirectory called "XOOPS" in my main web directory, but this is causing a problem in loading the default module in some browsers. Can I move all the XOOPS files and folders into the Main directory or will that mess up the file paths to the database etc?

Default Module redirect comes up blank

redirect to default module comes up blank sometimes. I have my default front page set to the weblog module 1.3, and sometimes it comes up blank, just a white page. anyone know what could be causing this or how i might fix it?

if you then reload it comes up??? I sit because XOOPS is in a subfolder of the web directory

I like it and use it on my site athttp://www.jonathanspencer.net

However, I would like a way to abbreviate the entries. so you got the taste of an article with a "read more" link if necessary thus making the entry page more compact if needed.

Could also do with soemthing that made it more inviting for people to register. Like they could see the latest blog block but not the whole blog.

would also like the category list to be available as a block as well as /istead of at the top of the blog main page.

But is in action, easy to install, easy to work...I like it.
