Hi phppp

No, the "Enable html tags" is not selected. Although I think the problem is with the FCKEditor. I was reading the fix to the html code problem here and will try it and let you know if it fixes the issue.

Edit - This fix mentioned below did not work for me:

Here's some fixes I've figured out for the FCKeditor itself:

1. Open class/xoopseditor/fckeditor/fckeditor.php
2. Go to line 60. Comment out this line and place the following below it:
$HtmlValue $this->Value;

This will fix the html code problem when editing items. What is happening is that the html code stored in the DB has HTMLSpecialChars done twice on it.

It should be noted that when using the DHTML Form (which is the default editor for members) it displays the html code when clicking on preview.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue? I am using:

xoops 2.2.4
CBB 2.2
SmartSection 1.05

and the same happens to me if I click on preview in the CBB forums. It simply displays the html code.

[Edit] - I just realized that this started after installing the FCKEditor in:

/class/xoopseditor/

I am not sure if this is the cause of the problem, but will uninstall and let you know if it corrects it.

If anyone has found another solution....please post.

**BUMP**

Has anyone been able to have the (xoopsmembers) or (xmmemberstats) modules search by user "Occupation" and/or "Location"?

I am trying to get either module to search the users Occupation and Location, but haven't been sucessful in getting either module to do this.

Using:
Xoops - 2.2.4
Xoopsmembers - 1.0
xmMembersStats - 2.0

I have been trying to get the Xoopsmembers module to search members Occupation. Before installing xoopsmembers, I changed the user_occ (Occupation) in the adminpanel/profiles/field to a drop down menu. I would think that the xoopsmembers searchform needs to have a drop down menu for occupation instead of a "Contains" statement.

But this is what I have done so far...I removed the URL and added Occupation, I have also added admin rights only to "realname". But unfortunately, if someone types a name in the search form, it will not show their real name, but it will find everyone with that name showing only their username. I would like to edit the searchform, but not sure where to find it so I can remove the realname from the search query (changes shown in red). Has anyone worked on this to show occupation or have any idea on how to make the searchform show a drop down menu for occupation?

Hi Novtech,

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but check this module out (debaser 0.92).

I have used this module in XOOPS 2.0.13, XOOPS 2.2 and now in XOOPS 2.2.3 with no problems.

This module allows your members to click on radio station you have selected (locally or abroad) which streams and doesn't have any effect on your bandwidth.

To find radio stations to put in your debaser, go to:
Radio Locator.

If you have an AOL account you can put in the code for some of the commercial free satellite radio stations.

Hope that helps

dwhitten,

I have to agree, I would not want someone (anyone) registering and having the ability to pick their group and getting into the website with possible admin permission.

The *group* picking is fine, actually I have that available on my registration. But it is up to you once you receive their email to decide if they belong to that group or not. And depending on their group, you allow for those modules that group belongs to-to have permission to access them.

Example - I have a *group* selection for 12 State Agencies. Once the registra picks an agency and the activation email come to me, I verify they belong to that agency and once verified I go to (admin/modules/my profile/users) and under (Group Preference) select the group they belong too based on the modules for their agency.

Wish you the best on your "Grand Opening" for your website. I live in Horse Country myself (Ocala, Florida) and work with family & friends when we have horse shows.

Hi dwhitten,

If I understand your question correctly, you are wanting to show the "Rider and Show Organizers" what is available to them based on the group settings for your website that you have made for them?

If that is your questions, you really don't have to show them anything, by that I mean. Once you setup your groups (admin/users/groups) and define which modules they have permissions to use under "Modify", they will only be able to see those modules you specified on your website.

Once they register, go to (admin/modules/my profile/users) and under (Group Preference) select the group they belong too. It's as easy as that.

Thanks to "stefan88" I found this issue making the SmartSection background "Light Blue". It was actually in my "Theme" style.css file. I'm not sure how I missed this before, because that was one of the first places I looked, but stefan88 had me look in two other areas of my "Theme" stlye.css file and after doing a search for the color code being used for the background I found it under:

.item #EAEDF4
(background)

Thanks again stefan88!

Thanks stefan88,

I have already tried viewing the source, but could not find where the background color for the SmartSection article was being used. I have looked through every CSS (SmartSection, XOOPS and Theme) hoping to find the color (#EAEDF4) which is the color of the "Light Blue" background being used in SmartSection.

I haven't found it as of yet, that is why I was thinking this was possibly a pic being used for the background.

Thanks davidl2,

I have reported this in both SmartDownloads and SmartSection, as it appears both of these modules have the same problem.

Although it should be noted that what ever value is being used for (Published By:) in the SmartSection article works fine, it just when the admin uses the (Recent Items) in a block, it reveals the (Real Name).

That is why I was hoping it was just an issue of changing (name, uname, etc.) in (smartsection/class/item.php) or (smartsection/index.php). But neither have fixed it in the (Recent Items) block, nor while looking in the WF-Downloads files.
