I agree with flipse. Proper settings are required, not the blocking of 1 of the largest email providers.
Enable the anti-spam, be sure your php.ini settings and .htaccess structure are secure. Also enable and register the "captcha", and enable the secondary signup page, as it screws with automated scripts really well.
Ok, "perhaps" my motive was a bit selfish, as Userpage has a couple of features I'd like to see implemented in Smallworld.
But the page feed, is well done in Smallworld. And there are other similarities between the modules that cooperation between the two sets of developers would result in better modules all around. IMHO
I'd like to see the efforts on this, and on Smallworld to be combined, as they are essentially the same type of module with slightly different attributes.
Send mail to webmaster at www.infernallogic.com when you have time. I'll be happy to open my chat up to public use for a short while so you can see it does work well. Or register, up to you.
I have little or no community/registered user activity so it doesn't get the stress testing it needs, but its still functional.
I just upgraded from 1.7 and it produced a whitepage when trying to update the module. Re-loading the page gave me the Update confirmation prompt again, and attempting the second try It "seemed" to update, but produced a single error at the end of an apparently successful update:
Failed to execute xoops_module_update_contact

It seems to work fine even with that error. Thanks for the work.
