Hello ghia,

Thanks a lot for your help. The change you suggested, got rid of the error on inc_main_ui_2.php, but the documents are still not being displayed to the intended users.

I noticed there are errors in other areas of this module. This version (1.91) of DMS is full of bugs and not fit for production.

Hello Experts,

I'm using XOOPS 2.3.3 and DMS 1.9 versions. I uploaded a document as the admin and gave the registered users group view permission to this document. When I log back in as a registered user and navigate to this module's main page, I don't see this document listed (just show's item: empty). In debug mode I found the following error:

Notice: Undefined variable: disp_start in file /modules/dms/inc_main_ui_2.php line 933

Any idea, why this might be happening?

Hello Experts,

I am also getting the same error: Error: Unable to move document. Ensure that the repository is available and that the web server is able to access the repository.

I have XOOPS installed at the root level. So, I have set the Document Storage Path to /modules/dms/repository/. The folder also has read/write permission.

From the debug log:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/modules/dms/repository/1/1/1/400001.dat) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file /modules/dms/file_import.php line 78

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phppuy0aa' to '/modules/dms/repository/1/1/1/400001.dat' in file /modules/dms/file_import.php line 78

Can anyone give me some advise on how to get is to work?

I wanted to test this new theme, but get the same error:

syntax error: unrecognized tag 'xthemes_process' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 599)

How can I fix this?

Thanks for your response. I just looked at the module 'Nivelamento'. Looks like it's in 'beta' and the developer hasn't done anything w/it in the last one year.

There are few open source CMS like aTutor and Moodle that has a good web based training/exam software, does anyone have experience using them?

I need to setup a educational/training site that will consists of several lessons and an exam at the end of each lesson. Is there a module out there that has this capability?

After installing XOOPS, install the UserPage module, which will allow your users to have their own personal page.
