Hello Everyone,

I have a requirement to develop a small application that will obtain data from user input (Q/A format) and using that data, I need to generate a report that will consists of charts and graphs. Is there a module that you can recommend that will help me with the charts and graphs generation?

Thanks in advance,
Abu Sadeq

I did not get far. I did the following:

1. Added an entry on the XOOPSNotification table to receive the moderator notification.
2. Added an email template for moderator notification.
3. Modified post.php for sending alerts for the non approved case.

I also tried to modify viewpost.php, so that a notification goes out to all who subcribed to 'new post' alert when the moderator approves a post.

I don't have much experinece with PHP. So, have a bit of a learning curve here.

Thanks for all your help.

Hi Ghia,

I spent some time trying to add the moderator notification as you suggested, but couldn't get it to work. Would it possible for you to give some code snippet?

Also, I noticed that there is a bug with the user 'new post added' notification if the moderator approval is turned on. After the moderator approves a post, no notification is going out to those who subscribed to new posts alert.

Please help! Thanks.

Abu

Hi Folks,

I need a little bit of help. I have installed CBB 3.08 on my site and have setup a user as the moderator. New post require moderator approval before being published. I logged in as a test user and submitted a new post, but no email notification was sent to the moderator for approval. How can I resolve this issue?

Email notfications from other areas of the site are working properly and the moderator email address is correct.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I was finally able to view one of the document as a user after I gave view permission at the document level. The permission I set at the root folder level is not working. Also, I got the following errors in debug mode -

1. Clicked on 'Update Permissions':
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in file /modules/dms/inc_perms_set.php line 214

Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in file /modules/dms/inc_perms_set.php line 227

Notice: Undefined variable: post_slct_user_e in file /modules/dms/inc_perms_set.php line 254

2. Clicked on 'Propagate permission' (this also deleted the pervious settings):

Hi Mazarin,

Here are two specific problem I found -

1) In 'Permissions Group Management Editor': Any modification to permissions is not being saved. I am also not able to delete any 'Permission Group' that I created.

2) I uploaded a document as the admin and gave the registered users group view permission to this document (through DMS administration). When I log back in as a registered user and navigate to this module's main page, I don't see this document listed (just show's item: empty).

You had mentioned that you have uploaded bunch of documents, are your intended users able to see them? If so can you give the steps you took, maybe I'm doing something wrong here. Thanks.

I'm on PHP5 and some of the issues I have seen are:

1) Users are not able to see documents that they have been given permission to view.

3) The group permission update is not working.

3) There are errors like this in several areas of the module:

Notice: Undefined variable: disp_start in file /modules/dms/inc_main_ui_2.php line 933

Folks,

Can you please recommend a good document management module that works with XOOPS 2.3.3? I installed 'Document Management System 1.91' which has some bugs in it and not working well with the latest version of XOOPS.

Thanks!

Abu
