Hi Catz,

did you think of the links to wfsection articles displayed in userinfo.php ? A link to an article that is restricted to specific user groups should logically be displayed only to users that belong to one of the groups.

I couldn't verify it myself yet, because on my productive site anonymous users are able to use the systems member search, but are not able to display the detail view of a user. I don't know yet what this problem is related to.

Does anyone know of a successful phpCollab integration or modularisation with XOOPS? We're looking at using XOOPS as our corporate extranet application, but we'd like project workplace facilities, most of those XOOPS posesses, but phpCollab would make an excellent addition... Anyone?

Re: "could not insert forum post" error

Ok, now I'm able to post in the forums, but when I do (though it shows up in the 'most recent topics' table, minus 'most recent poster' information'), I go to the thread and it has no text in it, nor does it have the typical admin 'Reply/Delete, etc.' buttons.

Re: "could not insert forum post" error

I've got the following message below the main listing of my tables in phpmyadmin:

Error
The additional Features for working with linked Tables have been deactivated. To find out why click here.

When I determine why it says
PMA Database ... not OK[ Documentation ]
General relation features Disabled

How can I enable them again (if I need them). PHPMyAdmin's instructions are hard to follow.

It may be that one of the forums table is corrupt. Try MySQL debug and find out which table is having the problem. After that, issue the following SQL from phMyAdmin to fix the table

REPAIR TABLE table_name_here;

Sorry GIJoe, I didn't explain myself clearly.

One one site I am running XOOPS v1.3.10 and I have myalbum v1.04 on that site (should have stayed with v1.0 but that's another story).

I want to upgrade the site from XOOPS 1.3.10 to XOOPS v2.0.3 and use myalbum-P.

I'm assuming there'll well and truly be table differences between the two. So I was wondering if just a normal upgrade of XOOPS and its modules - substituting myalbum-P v2.0.0 instead of myablum v1.13 will result in a flawless upgrade, or will there be work beyond my poor PHP (and code generally) skills?

What version of PHP are you using, and is register_globals on or off? The way they implemented the register_globals workaround I believe only works in PHP 4+.

I believe they did it that way because the default in PHP 3 was for it to be on, but that changed in 4... so as long as you are at default value for register_globals, you're OK. However, if you've changed your PHP 3 install to have register_globals off then the XOOPS global registration won't work.

For those using XOOPS 2.0.3+ with PHP 3 and register_globals off, please note: My fix works for PHP 3 or 4, but you should use caution implementing it since it was written for an earlier versino of XOOPS (2.0.2).

That's strange, I have Zone Alarm too, but I've never got this problem
