New user -> Not Registered but other group?

Is it possible to set up XOOPS to automatically place new registered users into another group other than 'Registered'?

(I know a work around would be to modify the 'Registered' group and create a new group with the permissions I want to assign, but is the question above possible?)

Glad it helped

I will try playing about with this. I think the current window size needs made bigger, and some other settings changed from 0 to -1

4images gallery integrated into XOOPS by Koudanshi is not just a gallery, but a fairly sophisticated media; mp3; and movie; film, and you name it media streamer as well

I put one small example simple "mov" file on my site gallery in the folder called "Media".

PPnews for xoops 1.3.8

Hello folks,
I'm still using 1.3.8 on one of my sites, and since it's full of hacks, some are custom, I won't upgrade for a long time.

I'm using PPnews, but I has about 1300 users that I need to enter to the PPnews, a bit tricky without messing with MySQL directly.
since PPnews integration with XOOPS is so poor, I hope someone did some kind of hack for the problem.

I'd like to hear some opinions about that

It sure is !!!!

I said everything above, but I sure hope the next XOOPS version will include wysiwyg as an options for selected groups (That way Security hazard will be reduced)

Anyone out there who knows how I can make this work for streaming videos?

Is this just as simple as redefining some of the player settings in the audio block and if so, which settings need to be changed?

We plan to use this for most modules and as you may well know, we plan to totally upgrade newbb in the future.

I've never experianced this problem my self, but have you contacted your host to see if they've upgraded anything, php, mysql, etc.

Or if they perform back ups could they put a back up back on from when it was working.

Also try logging into the ftp for your site and clearing our the cahce and template_C I know this has caused some problems in the past with users logging in and posting with my own site.

Same for me. Nothing but a blank page except for some odd text strings at the top and the typical lycos ads.
