If I had a choice, I would use Yabbse. I read somewhere here that someone has or almost has a Yabb module. Anyway, I think the forum that comes with XOOPS is very good. The only change I made was to reduce the graphics (new thread, etc.) by about 50% in PhotoShop. They are way to big.

Hello All,

Has anyone hacked up a way to radomize the poll displayed in the polls block? If not this would be a very cool feature.

Alf

The lan party module allows your members to sign up for events.
Mainly, it has:
Event Name
Event Date
Event singing date
Event description

and other options...
like [vegetrain][number of people to come with you]..etc.

This is great, if you need to count how many members will
join a certain event.

Where should can I find the information?
I can't use the search function there...

After setting up a discussion forum, I found that I cannot use the image manager to upload any image. After uploading an image, nothing happens and the image bank remains blank.
What have I forgetten to do?

nvandam:

Thanks

I have not had a look at it yet but I had noticed that it was not doing 'what' it was suppose to.

Catz:

Yes, it is the same one. I notice now that it has been removed from xoops.org. It was committed to XOOPS 2 CVS a couple of days ago, but I think there are still a couple of issues to resolve before it is functioning 100% correctly.

mvandam:

Is this the same hack that is now used on this site?

The reason I ask is that I 'asked' it to 'remember me' and I still had to log in again today? Wierd?

Not using a firewall (networked and this a client) and my browser is set to accept all cookies.

What should happen if I fill out the username and pass and select Auto login?

A cookie should be set for a week storing User and Pass.

When I logout and visit the site again I should login automatically?

Is this correct?

What should happen is that the cookie will be set for a week. That means if you visit the site within a week of your last visit, you will automatically be logged in. If you wait more than a week you have to enter your info again. If you explicitly "log out", then you will have to enter you info on the next visit even if it is 5 mins later. Hope this clears it up...

CEAM, the original developer of PhpCollab, began exploring CMS integration at version 2.5 (XOOPS 2 and later PostNuke). He got an initial cut distributed in his first beta, and then abruptly stopped developing PhpCollab for some reason - something about working on another project.

The PhpCollab community is now in the process of transitioning from a one-man show to a community effort. A second beta of 2.5 has been released, but the CMS integration has been removed and the project team seems not to be interested in exploring CMS integration preferring to focus on other project management and collaborative management features.

http://phpcollab.sourceforge.net/viewtopic.php?t=900

Integration won't come from the PhpCollab community - they suggest you use a wrapper.
