Just as an aside, wouldn't it be cool if you could read the theme settings for WindowsXP and/or IE and customize the XOOPS page to match the users selection? That way if you have an elderly person using a large font/high contrast desktop the webpages they view would match? Too many websites out there, mine included, lock down everything so we can maintain a certain look and sacrifice usability for visually impaired people.

Just thinking outloud, don't mind me.

Main Menu Change & Blocks Addition

Is there anyway to "add" the main menu to the header? I would love to remove the menu from the left column and put it just under my logo. It would be something like www.apple.com the top row would hold the main headings, "User Menu" , "Home", "Forum",.... and the row below would contain the usual sub catagories for that module.

Also, why doesn't clicking the title of a block bring you to the related module? I realize this is a tiny issue but if someone has a solution for this it would rock =)

I want to change the last post field in the Recent Topics block to read "20min ago by <username> I know a little C# but am unsure how to call datetime.now in PHP in order to subtract the actual post time in order to return the days/hours/min back. Any ideas OR a nice little solution would be great!

This is what the cell currently contains. Note, I am using IPBoards if it makes a diff.

<td align="right"><{$topic.time}><br><{if $topic.last_post_id <> 0}><a href='<{$xoops_url}>/modules/ipboard/index.php?s=<{$topic.sess_id}>&act=Profile&CODE=03&MID=<{$topic.last_post_id}>'><{$block.lang_by}>:&nbsp;<{$topic.last_post_name}></a><{else}><{$block.lang_by}>:&nbsp;<{$topic.last_post_name}><{/if}></td>

I finally got around to try and upload a word doc to a wfsection article. But it won't let me. The file uploads and is in the upload dir but it does not attach to the article I am editing. I am uploading AFTER posting the article, I think that is right, and I am sure the MIME type is setup. I've even tried a few other files but no luck. Any ideas?

What file do I edit in order to add to the above page. I want to add some text under the email box so I can explain a few things to new registrants before they use a hotmail, msn or other free email address.

Thanks in advance.

Just installed a fresh copy of v2_rc2 and forums. Whenever I try to create a new Catagory it says that it has been created but the Catagory list does not contain any values. The odd thing is is that if I input a few different catagory names the drop down list does get bigger but the values in the list are all zerolength.
