I noticed that forum moderators do not have the Delete button for posting in their own forum.

Is this a bug?

I would expect the moderator to be able to delete messages.

Giving the moderator admin rights on the forum module is not an option. Is there a patch or workaround for this?

I fixed this a while back in my personal copy of XOOPS; all you need to do is open up your template for newbb_thread.html and change where it says <{if $xoops_is_admin == true}> and make it say <{if $viewer_is_admin == true}>.

Thanks Jack, I will try this patch.

I am wondering what it takes to get this bug fixed in the main code so it is part of the next release?

I this forum monitored for this kind of bug reports or there is some other more formal system in place to report bugs?
