Thanks for the reply, Onokazu!

Before you replied, I tried to go in as a webmaster and change the theme to the default XOOPS one and then switch it back; that seemed to rectify all the problems.

I'll be sure to use that fix if it happens again!

I noticed that packaged with XOOPS are icons for AIM, viewing profiles, YIM, ICQ, etc. However, those do not appear in Xoops. I did a search and none of the threads that talked about this were specific. They all seemed to rely on the person who was adding them to have good knowledge of XOOPS programming already. Is there anyone here who has added those buttons on their site and could tell me how they did it? Thanks!

-Alex

You have to look at your permissions, unchecking read only won't solve the problem...

Rightclick the cache, templates_c and upload dir and click on the tab security --> this can have a comletely different name but i don't know your language.

There should be a account with the name "Internet Guest Account" if not you have to add it to the root dir of your XOOPS website. Select this name/account.

The Internet Guest Account always has a name like this: Internet Guest Account(YOURPCNAME|USR_YOURPCNAME)
The permissions for this account should include "write"

zero:

It seems there is no db with the zero19_xoops on the server. Didn't you confuse your db name and the prefix?

If you have access with phpmyadmin then find out what the name is of that db your accessing, use that name in your XOOPS install...

To resurrect a topic already discussed, I'm trying to add watermarking to my modules abilities. Found this GREAT watermarking mod but can't get it to work. I can tell it to add to the pictures in a certain subtree the watermark. But the pictures don't show up. Has anyone used this?

OR there is a great PHP script that I can make work independant of the gallery but I can't make work with xoopsgallery. . . . .

Any ideas?

Gnik

Hi all,

Can't seem to work this out...

My assumption..
/userinfo.php is built from /template_c/db%3Asystem_userinfo.html which in turn is built from /modules/system/templates/system_userinfo.html

So how come if I make changes to system_userinfo.html and delete all the cache files in template_c I still get a page without the changes?

Thanks for any pointers

Andrew
