To resurrect a topic already discussed, I'm trying to add watermarking to my modules abilities. Found this GREAT watermarking mod but can't get it to work. I can tell it to add to the pictures in a certain subtree the watermark. But the pictures don't show up. Has anyone used this?

OR there is a great PHP script that I can make work independant of the gallery but I can't make work with xoopsgallery. . . . .

Any ideas?

I'll have to take a closer look later, but it's an interesting mod. Anyone else interested in getting this to work? Anyone else currently have it working who might want to post a patch?

I would also be interested in seeing this work. I haven't begun tearing it apart yet to see what makes it tick, though.

Think I'm on to something. In the mods made to Album.php, the image_file path might be the issue?? I've set mine to this:
if ($this->fields['watermark'] == 'yes' && $type == 'full') {
                        return
$gallery->app->photoAlbumURL "/watermark.php?image_file=" "modules/xoopsgallery/cache/albums" $albumPath;

So the server is showing (in the log)Quote:

"GET /modules/xoopsgallery/watermark.php?image_file=modules/xoopsgallery/cache/albums/album73/Nice_Almost.jpg HTTP/1.1" 200 0

So I'm getting a "request has succeeded" . . . . hmmm. . . Guess now I have to focus on the watermark.php code. . .

Version 1.3.3.2 is now available. I just posted the announcement and update to the download link, awaiting approval. You can get it at the link Luxus posted.

It's done! Yay!

OK - back to the topic at hand. . . .

I installed the update. As I mentioned - it works GREAT! Two Thumbs Up (or Four if your a primate)!!

After updating I went back to trying to get the watermark mod to work. Same as before - so if anyone else (after the excitement of updating to make xoopsgallery WORK) ventures into trying to get watermarking to work, please share your experience.

Thanks,

Gnik

Now I've tried both the script made for GD2 and for regular GD. . . . same - no image. Wish this script had more debugging abilities. . .

I'm SURE someone else would think this would be a GREAT add-on to xoopsgallery . . . . right? (grin)
