Desi is word used for south Asian community. Tristate area(NJ,NY,CT) in USA have a dynamic desi group named NJNYDESIS. We also have members from PA. It started as yahoo group and growing as social group. When yahoo group became unreliable because of delay, we wanted to have a backup forum.
