The CITCS Study Group is a site published for the benefit of the student body attending West Virginia University - Parkersburg who are enrolled in the Computer Information Technologies and Computer Sciences curricula.

I chose to migrate the old phpBB based site over to the Xoops 2.0.6RC platform after I developed a site for one of my clients using Xoops. The Xoops platform offers a much higher degree of security and "extensibility" than any other platform I had previously worked with.

Our site is essentially an "out-of-the-box" distro of Xoops with several modules installed with a hacked version of the Simple Line theme.
