Membership is a module which maintains your user groups for paid access through XPayment to your website. You can set which groups people are to expire from and expired to as well as groups you can purchase access to. It is complete with permission and is a basic Groups Cart for XOOPS 2.x.

This module utilizes other module, these modules are XPayment and Profile. This means you will need to have these modules installed as well to use this module. There is also a cron in the modules folder you can find the file in /modules/membership/cron and should be set to run at least once a day. But it doesn't matter how oftern you run it.

Bugs Fixed:
  • Editor not loading in admin
  • Title and description not saving on new package in admin
  • Xpayment plugin WSDO

X-Forum is a completely extensible forum module for XOOPS, this is the complete stable release of the first version of 5 series, it includes multiple fields specifiable per post on individualized forums much like profile module.

Designed for XOOPS 2.4 and later version, it was written in response to problems with earlier forum titles, that had in some cases installation issues. With a broad range of options. X-Forum is a great solution to your forum requirements, complete with RSS Features and image management. It will utilise a wide range of options and allow your community to discuss issues, raise topic and solution. Complete with .htaccess example and SEO with a medium URL.

It has the ability to aggregate categories and forums to languages as well as domains with multisite 1.40 or X-Language. This means you can have forms and forum which only display on particular domains or under certain languages.

With X-Forum you can have all the convenience of the modular newbb path without the result. Based on CBB with a sound environment that even your grandma can use, I know mine does this is solid stuff coming directly to you under GNU Licenses.

Complete with Easy Path SEO Guide and help in the preference, you can even with some simple SQL Injections transfer your old CBB 2.x or 3.x over to X-Forum with ease. NOTICE!!! The .htaccess has changed since version 4.70!! - this is included in the /docs path of the archive.

We would like to thank PA Fly Fish for developing a bug list and paying for the module to be bug free for the entire community, it take commitment from my end users to make sure these titles are completely bug free. PA Fly Fish have ensured the forum under SEO is completely bug free finally. The .htaccess has changed since 5.71 there should be no more changes after this one.

aphex the 5th!

Hello, I'm Erol but you might know me as "aphex" and I make themes for XOOPS. Today I launched the 5th version of the themes site you all got to know for some years as Aphex's Themes. The most important change about the site is not the design... The most important thing about the site is the system used, and now is proudly powered by XOOPS (again). The change brings a lot of changes to the structure of the site and a lot of changes to the designs I put up for download, and you will see next week what I'm talking about as a new theme will be published to my download section. For now, you will notice that ALL free items have disappeared and registration is no longer possible. Altho free items will still be published by me, they will no longer be available on the themes site. Regular users have been removed and only the users with active subscription can still login ( unfortunately they will need to reset their password ) As for the old themes... I had a chat with Michael ( Mamba ) and it was decided that since they won't be available on my site, they need a home... their home will be XOOPS's theme gallery and so they will soon be made available to download here on xoops.org Anyway, drop by and check out the new old website and you can read all about the changes... Paflyfish.com Upgraded to Xoops 2.5

I am very happy to announce the upgrade of Paflyfish.com, a website community for fly fishing anglers in the Pennsylvania and surrounding region of the United States.

The website was established in 1995 and originally implemented Xoops in 2006. The site is fairly busy with about 7,000,000 pageviews and 600,000 visits a year. The site was centered around SmartSection for a blog and CBB for the forum. The site had been on Xoops 2.0.18.2 for quite a number of years.

A special thanks to Simon Roberts (Wishcraft) for his work on upgrade and migration of the site and data to Xoops 2.5. Not an easy task with a 245,000 posts in the forum and 1,000,000 PM's stuck in the DB.

I have been a long time member (lurking mostly) of the Xoops community and big fan of all of you that support what is going on here. I have not posted because I am not a programmer, but want to thank all those that have been active because I have used all this information to keep my site going the last several years.

Over the next few months I will be working on a new theme and templates to give the site a new and more contemporary look.

Sightings is a XOOPS module which allows for your users to input sightings of sometype with video, tags and description based on the world map in longitude and latitude. You may have to increase your php memory limit to install this as the SQL file is 176Mbs which means you will have to increase it above this for the installation to run successfully.

This module was developed for ETE and can be used on your site for collecting longitude and latitude on embedded vision.
