White Crows is my first serious attempt at building a customised Xoops theme. It's a fusion of the superior features of xoops 2.2.3 and the style of Blogger's beautiful 'Scribe' theme by Todd Dominey. My aim was to produce a personal website that was functional and yet visually stimulating, without distracting from the content with lots of menus and blocks that often characterises a Xoops website. The site features are further enhanced by extensive use of a tool tip script; more about that later.

F3 - The First Forensic Forum
Lastnight, I (at last) launched my third Xoops site...http://www.F3.org.uk. It's taken me about three months and a lot of work! But it is the best Xoops site I've done to date and I'm really proud of it.
The First Forensic Forum (F3 for short) was originally founded in the 1990’s when forensic computing began and was mostly conducted in the fields of law enforcement to catch and put away criminals who'd been using computers for their corrput ends. As time has gone on, private companies have developed offering both prosecution and defence services as well as internal investigation services. F3 has aided the collective gathering of all of these people to come together and share their knowledge as a specialist (and quite unique) industry.
F3 is a non-profit organisation and ran by a committee of 13 members, for which I am one.

The XOOPS Development Team is pleased to announce the creation of the xoops-announcement mailing-list, available on our Sourceforge space.
The purpose of this list is for the XOOPS Development Team to send out any announcement, including information about upcoming releases, one day before this news is made public on the XOOPS.org websites.
Thus people interested in helping us testing packages before their public releases, developers who would like to to synchronise their own development release schedule and the local support sites managers who need to translate the announcements will now be able to get early information.
It is a one-way channel. Discussions about the XOOPS core development are held at the SF.net XOOPS project forums.
This list is only a first step: we are quite busy at the moment not only preparing next releases, but updating the way we work, and more importantly communicate. New websites and documents will come soon, to allow everybody who wishes to contribute to this project to do it efficiently, and synchromize all the efforts of the XOOPS community members.
