Yes, It's coming. I'm going to try to get it released in early january. I'm just working out some bugs that still remain on the admin side.

I also need to figure out how I'm going to handle the pricing information pages. since I use freecontent to display those information. I may just take it out - I'm not sure yet.

I'll post here when it's ready.

yep, can't wait for the finished version..

i've installed the current version, but i can't get the urls or email addresses to show on the listings at all..

i figure it's to do with the premium settings? but where do you change this and is there a feature that will disable the premium feature if i don't want to charge people for urls to show etc?

Hey Monty, The module you are using is designed to show urls when the premium field is = 1

the e-mail addresses are not incorporated yet because I didn't want to expose them to spammers.

the version I plan to release next month will have the ability to upgrade the listing from the admin console(this includes showing their URL) and it will also have a more secure email function.

xDirectory is designed as a yellow pages type module for webmasters who want add another revenue opportunity to their site.

dunno if this is a bug or not, but i've changed the premium field in phpmyadmin of table xoops_xdir_links to a value of 1 and the urls still don't show on the listings.. or have i done something wrong?

This may be an stupid request but... I try...

Some times ago I've dl. the xdir module and I've tryed then I've translate it in IT. lang. (not posted because the final version is not ready). Now if I dl. again this module from dl. area here there is the old version or the new version under work?
I ask this because with the old version we (I and another friend) have test the possibility of add the owner of the submission.
example: Sam submit an link + info about an company, Sam must be an registred user and only Sam (or the Admin) have the power of update or delete that info, not all the registred user.

For make this we have add an new table with the "owner" of the submission.

I dont know if this is included into of the actual version or not...

Another question is how many info can be submitted without the crash of the db?

In /xdirectory/templates/xdir_link.html @ line# 11 you should have something like this:

If that code is already there then there is a problem with either viewcat.php or index.php where the premium field hasn't been defined.

This will all be better when I release the next version...I hope
