The blank.gif photo in m0nty's photo hack is not displaying in XOOPS 2.0.15 and I think a couple of versions earlier as well. Why? After extensive, painstaking review of the hack files, two bottles of tylenol and sleepless nights, I concluded. The problem is not with the hack at all.
The problem which cause the non-display of the photo is:
the blank.gif in the uploads folder, yup you guessed it-it is indeed blank.
Fix#1: Find a good no photo or avatar .gif, rename it to blank.gif and upload it to the uploads directly. (problem: it will show for both the avatar and the photo when users do not have one selected).
Fix #2: Find a good no avatar.gif and name it blank, upload to the uploads directory. Then find or create a good nophoto.gif and upload it as blank2.gif (your choice of names). Go through all the files of m0nty's excellent hack and replace any instance of blank.gif with the blank2.gif or what ever you named it. (But only change the instances of his photo hack in the files)
