Not using the standard XOOPS PM system.
However, I've recently installed
Lord Venom's mpmanager 2.63 which does this and a whole lot more. Highly recommended by me at least
It installs much like a any other module, but there's a directory in the download called "Root". Don't upload this with the rest of the files - upload its contents to their corresponding place in your file set-up, overwriting the existing files. Keep a backup of these few (3, IIRC) files in case you ever want to uninstall the module.
