some of the members always copy the tag produced by photobucket which uses IMG tag.

and that is not supported by xoops. it will end up being a line of text with no pictures shown.

anyway i can enable the [IMG] [/IMG] tag which serves the same purpose as Resized Image ?

It appears all the magic with the DHTML editor is done in:

/class/module.textsanitizer.php

so that would be a starting point for a hack I guess. This thread explains how to hack that file to allow heading tags (H1, H2 etc.)

Many thx for that link zyspec.

I read somewhere there was a hack that allowed you to highlight a word and click 'B' to make it bold and also insert stuff at the cursor, instead of the bottom of the textarea. Do you know the whereabouts of this, or if it exists?

The extended DHTML editor that comes in Frameworks does this.

I believe the one inside MastopPublish does too - although I haven't tried it myself.
