Can anyone please point me to a good article module as I am a bit confused.
I want it to write reviews.
Ideal it should have multipage, images support, author

Re: Article module?

I would like to suggest the Article Management System (AMS) developed at IT-HQ.org.

On the surface when editing it does not look like it does what you want. But it supports two tags for breaking pages.

Quote:
[extend]
breaks the page in the spotlite, and must be used first. then Quote:
[pagebreak]
for breaking to separate pages within the article itself.

It supports standard image linking plus an attachment feature that I must admit I haven't used yet. Plus advanced audience control.

I recommend using the 'Articles module for Xoops2 v0.18'. XOOPS has 'v0.17' in the 'Module Repository' under the catagory 'Content Management'.

This is the link to the newest version:http://support.sirium.net/modules/mydownloads/

For multipage support, you should go for the article 0.90

nice! thanks so much. it works like charm... easier to use and more straight forward... would like to have some Spotlight blocks though... still, if i were to rate this module(for articles), i'd give it 8/10 stars! and its not even V1.0 yet

With AMS you must use the [extend] tag before you use the [pagebreak] tag. All [pagebreak] tags placed before the [extend] tag will be ignored.

It´s very good.

With SPOTLITE, SUBCATEGORIES.

But withou pagebreak.

You can´t set the number of characters of the article either.

I´m really embarrased to sign this post but i´m not able to break the article with the AMS module

Where do we have to put the [extend]

at the beginning of the text and then [pagebreak]
in the middle.

Am I to nerd:)
