I THINK IS NOT A PROBLEM OF XOOPS BECAUSE I HAVE ANOTHER SITE JUST BUILD WITH COPPERMINE www.fotomadrid.org (which can be also found as a XOOPS module) which doesn´t work at all.


You can just no imagine what if gone through with my hosting company hostytec.com

After 5 horrible years with them i only get rubbish from them.

A couple of months ago, when our domains were about to expire, they were redirecting our domains to their advertise full sites.

This is unbeareable, against law, against internet, against the human pride.

Our sites, our projects, our idea are down because of hostytec.com

ONCE AGAIN.

WHAT THE HELL CAN I DO AGAINST THEM?????????

it seems it has been another gift of my wonderful hosting company hostytec.com i´ve been having problems with then since the very beginning.


be careful with them. They are horrible professionals.

Now when i try to to open any of my sites with XOOPS it says

Anyway, i think it might be a problem of my server, but the message says it´s a problem of xoops.

You are absolutely right Newbbx is a great forum module, only if it had different permissions for administrator/users


The problem is that i´m not able to make cbb 3.08 work with XOOPS 2.17.1 (i can´t create new categories, etc)

Anyway, hopefully it will work for me with the new 2.018,

Also it seems cbb 4.0 is arriving soon.

I´m so happy with XOOPS and it´s modules that everyday it amazes me more how good is this project getting to be.

Opinions on newbbex 1.4 forum

Hello,

I,m trying to make a site with a forum. I have XOOPS 2.0.17 for it.
As Cbb 3.8 doesn´t work on my site i´ve been looking for another forum module at www.xoopsaddons.org (which, by the way, is a great tool for the XOOPS Community)

The thing is that i´ve found the newbbex 1.4 which looks great on my site, and it´s very simple to use.

Does anybody like this module too. Is there any other better.

Forum module with antispam filter

Does the new cbb 3.08 has any antispam filter. I did have to close the forum because of the lack of it on the previous versions of CBB.

Is there any other Forum module that has antispam filter.


By the way, does the cbb 3.08 work properly on XOOPS 2.0.17

That´s what i get when i click on left icon (in admin mode) for the NEWBB module.

But furthermore, it has dissappeared 400 messages about Freelotto scum. All in spanish, most of them from latinamerica.

If you get to the forum, you can see there are 589 messages but you can only see one of the messages.

IS THE INTERNATIONAL FORUM

I don´t know if this has any relation with each other.

This site, used to get 40 spam messages a day to the forum.

Really anoying.

Hopefully in the new versions of NEWBB we get to see any anti spam system.

Somenthing strange happens to my XOOPS site.

Everytime i try to enter in the forum (in the administration site, to check the new waiting for aproval posts)

I GET THIS!!

where to find contact module for xoops 2.0.16 ?

I can´t find the contact module that used to be on the intallation packages of older versions.

I have found the amcontact module which is great! but still want to find the old contact module.

Any idea?
