Still cannot solve the problem.

My site did not display properly when I use the domain name xxxx.xx in the virtual path of mainfile.php file. It only display the input box of user name, password ...etc. When I try to login, it did not work.

When I use the IP (ex. 256.128.156.93) offer by my boardband company. Everything work fine. The site work properly. My problem is my IP is not fix. The company use DHCP. I am using no-ip service. Is there something I did wrong?

No, setting it to localhost will not work.

If you have a no-ip service, why don;t you use the URL from that? That will point to your current IP address (theres an application that will synch the no-ip url to your current IP). It works perfect for me.

It means that when you log in to your site, you will have to use the no-ip address too, and not localhost or the name of your computer.

Thank you Tailzehhhh & Herko.

Herko, what is the application that will synch the no-ip url to your current IP? And would you please to give me more information about that? thank you very much.

I already using the dynamic update client from no-ip. The virtual path would not automatical update the IP address when I restart the computer. So, every time I start up the computer, I had to check the IP address and modify the configure on mainfile.

Nelson,

It's good to here that your site works. I followed the same and it worked for a while. Now I could hardly log in as administrator via the internet.. Even I successfully log in, I would be kicked out with the message that I am not authorized to access the module.

When I log in from the same LAN segment, everything is fine.

Would you please share your experience on dynamic IP, no-ip port re-direct? Many thanks!

@dckngai

why not google it instead of possibly waiting days for a reply?
