category page fails to appear...

*excuse my use of terminology, I'm a mere mortal and fairly new to xoops*

I don't know if the Japanese map hack I mentioned above has anything to do with this, but now, when I click on my link for MxDirectory in the main menu, all I get is this:

Phone:
Rating: ()

More Info | Rate this Business | Modify this Listing | Tell a Friend | Comments ()

If I look at the source of that page, it seems like the necessary code after

!-- (Category ) --

is missing...

If I navigate directly to a category, it will appear, but .../modules/mxdirectory/index.php just refuses to display properly.
Here's the message that PHP Debug produces

Quote:
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: id in file kernel/object.php line 279
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: id in file kernel/object.php line 280
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: id in file kernel/object.php line 370

Any ideas?

Hey Tripmon,

Is development on this still moving forward? If so, can you please post the status?

I don't want to rush you, but this module is a big asset to my website and I would love to have the features listed implemented.

Thanks!

Oh, and by the way, I switched on notifications in the module yesterday, and when I go to modify the listing, after clicking "Send Request", I get a fatal error (call on non-object in include/notifications.inc.php on line 41. If I turn notifications off, I don't get the error. Any ideas? Using XOOPS 2.2.4 and Mx-directory 2.0. Thanks!

Is this module still active?

I have tried to locate the download for this and all links that I can find are dead.

Does anyone know of a module I can use as a directory listing of names and addresses, e.g. a neighborhood directory?

I have tried playing with xdirectory and it doesn't quite fit, plus it is also rather old.

Thanks!

Update:

I'm currently working on adding features mentioned earlier in this thread. A full list of changes will be put together in the coming days.

EDIT:
I will be releasing a bug fix version for 2.0.X, as well as a 2.2.X release which will include additional features (TBD).

Thanks to all who have contributed..

You could try the Weblinks module:

Hi guys

I'm not sure if it is already possible in mxdirectory, but I'm in dire need of a city search - in fact to be able to search on any of the fields used the Submit page.

Is this already possible (can't find anything about it on Google) ?

Has anyone else done a mod for this functionality?

Any helpful response would be gratefully accepted!

Cheers

Sean

This is planned for the EFQ Directory module. This specific feature will be in the first full release. An alpha release (advanced search feature not included yet) will be released on Sunday 26th.

Best regards

What is EFQ Directory module? What is the relationship to MX Directory?

EFQ directory is similar to MxDirectory, only with a few extra features. You can find more information in this thread.
