Hi,

Do you guys have any tutorial guide lines on how to customaize news module??

I don't know of any existing tutorials to help with this, however if you explain what it is you're after perhaps someone can help you out, point you to the right template to edit etc.

I want to customaize it so it looks similar to XOOPS homepage.

EX:

Thanks to bananadude he showed me how to do it using AMS. But I want to use news module, cause I'm using AMS for something else.

Use Spotlight, as it done here and edit template (one main) as you want... Never seen problem with it

Yes it does. You'll find the option in the recent and top news blocks.

Did you know that you can use more than one instance of the recent news block? And that each can be set to display a different topic?

I made a recent news, it did the job, I set it to display (1) article, It displayed one recent news followed by a list of other recent news, I thought if I set it to 1 it will only display 1 article only.

Could you please help me in make it display only ONE recent news without a list?

How can I force system preferences to display 4 items on top page insted of 5,10,15,20...?

I have no programming experince using php, how can I make the news module to look similar to the one used by XOOPS
