Re: Please help. xoops with mod_rewirte.

Cookies, which store authentiication information, are domain-based... As I see - you change host's domain, thus - old authentification ignored for new hostname.
I have almost the same problem in case of multisiting with common userbase, and have only ideas how it can be solved (by dirty hack), not ready to use solution

I've read the report and I don't think, this is the reason.

Well, I see it in realtime from beginning. And I'm sure - i'm not idiot and I'm not blind... I see facts, events and internal logic behind all

LB, this is really embarrassing!

Yes, and I carefully select words which have only one meaning... We in good style discuss our positopns and... this [person] try to read me notation...

I give them credit for that, but don't they also have a team of people who had worked together before and who brought a lot of pre-existing Mambo-based concepts, protocol etc with them? I thought most of them just jumped ship from Mambo.

Yes... but even they was Mambo-team as I know (maybe wrong) Miro provides
- PR
- finances for exhibition

... not direct management of project

And the desire of hard, autoritative ownership of project from Miro's side became the reason for "riot aboard the ship"

We move into offtopic here, sir Chief Moderator... see topic's title. Maybe for our question we'll jump into special topic?

Re: Surveys and/or polls on XOOPS.org?

And just to note
37 000 is total amount of members, with inactive, lost...
If we count on
- week revisit level
- month revisit level

we'll get more real numbers

Don't know much about mambo's or joomla's infrastructure, but didn't/don't they have centralized offices and such where everyone is in physical contact with each other
No...
Both projects have published gallery of developments teams members - they are
- bigger
- decentralised

I lost inerest to Mambo (it's slightly different case, compared to XOOPS... as I see it), but Joomla's About Us will say all - who works, there works, how works, how they show real, not mythical Team on site
