Thanks a lot guys for your help, I highly appreciate it.

I was able to edit the template files, in addition to index.php and functions.php which did pretty much what I want.

Hi,

All I need is being able to do some minor modifications on PD-Downloads.

I don't have many files so I don't need the alphabetical listing. And also I don't need rating/popularity/latest settings. I want to remove these lines from the download main page and the following pages

Browse Downloads by alphabetical listing
[ 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | I ]
[ J | K | L | M | N | O | P | Q | R | S | T | U | V | W | X | Y | Z ]


[ My Downloads | Latest Listings | Popularity | Rating ]

I only wants to keep submit download. I'm using 2.0.15

I tried doing some search in the files that contains these lines, I found a file called functions.php that contains the bolded values I tried commenting them, but it didn't work.

I didn't have luck in finding these values:

[ My Downloads | Latest Listings | Popularity | Rating ]

Can anyone help me in this please???

I figured out that I need to do clone first before being able to submit block changes.

So I made clone I opened the template, I started doing changes, and view the changes, I submited and everything was ok, I check to see if the changes occured and I found that they did change.

But the problem is that on the webpage nothing has changed. As if I did nothing..

Could you please help me find out why?

Hi,

I was trying to do some modefications on this block

system_block_user.html

I opened it with notepad, I commented out some lines which I don't want to see in the User Menu. I saved the file, I logged out and logged back in. I tried different browser, but I found that it didn't do any change, I was able to access everything in User Menu. I viewed the file template from templates in the administration menu but it did not do the changes I was able to see the file as is before changing it.

Am I doing the changes in the wrong place(right now /system/templates/blocks)?

Is there any other place that I should do the modefication from, or there is other location that I can do the modefication from.

I did search on sourceforge, and I've downloaded many modules for download, but non is doing what I want

The users of download service want very simple download page, they don't want even one single category cause that is too confusing.

You are right, I just found out that both give a link, but no admin or anything. my mistake.

Do you know any module that can help me have very easy to use download page?
