Hey everyone,

did something happen in your local XOOPS Support site (or even your own) that never made it here as a news or discussion but you think is worth mentioning for others to know?

Is there anything specific you would like to see in the upcoming wox newsletter?

Are you willing to help us with it? Want to join the wox team?

Then please just post a short info in this thread or pm Monty, davidl2 or myself.

And please only post some topics or pointers. Please do not use this thread to discuss the things offered to keep it overseeable. For things you would like to start a discussion about just open your own thread.

Thanks guys!

1). How about interview(s) with the core developer(s) of xoops? (who is who, motivation, works, why xoops, how long involved with xoops, what he/she does considering development, etc.)
2). A review of 1 or 2 module(s) which runs within both XOOPS versions. (2.0.13.x and 2.2.x)

grtz., Shine

During last time I see new active and productive player on the field on XOOPS modules - namely it's RedMexico Soft and (more common) XOOPS Mexico. They have really greate things, and RM-* modules just work, without big headache (small problems is a natural state of any code). Why not create "Day of Mexico"?

More wide - every WoX will publish deep review of one famous module, prepared from user's POV by guru of this module...
I think, we have big set of modules, which must have more publicity and we can find at least one user, which knows own fabourite modules at the exclusive level

RM-*, maybe except -Services, which I don't use (for now).

Also , after my last project I'm very impressed bt TinyD, and think to study it fully before next my turn (I hope, it will not be extremely short)

We just had "Xoopser Meeting In Beijing" for XOOPS China community last night from 18:00 to 23:00.
There were more than 20 Xoopsers sharing topics:
1 exciting news from Skalpa
2 pros/cons of Xoops
3 ideas/activity for promoting/developing XOOPS and XOOPS community

Details will be coming.

And, we will have a small meeting with marcofr, who is in Beijing now.
More news ...

I don't think it as to be particulairy a famous or most favorite module. These modules are mostly known by the community. I'd like to see reviews of less popular/used modules. Most of the time these modules are less popular or used because nobody seems t know what the module can do or how to use.
I am sure there are some modules which are very good but don't get the recognition yet.

Indeed RM has some great modules. Pitty is that some of the things are hardcoded and spanisch (portuguese?) language shows up.
For me it is like reading chinese. But yeah, I like their modules.

Second: Why not write some guidelines within the WOX considering modules information as soon as they're launched within the news.
- compatible with which XOOPS versions
- compatible with which php-versions?
- What does the module do and or what is the meaning for use best?
